Analysis of fragrance components in cosmetics within the Tentamus Group

Annex 3 of Regulation (EC) No 1223/2009 specifies which fragrance components in cosmetics must be declared in the ingredient list from amounts of 10 ppm (leave-on products) or 100 ppm (rinse-off products). 

Furthermore, certain substances such as lyral and lilial are banned as fragrances in cosmetics (Annex 2). Due to natural variations, the content of individual fragrance ingredients may fluctuate.

The BAV Institute, in cooperation with the international Tentamus laboratory group, analyzes all declarable or banned fragrance components for you using state-of-the-art technology quickly and reliably. This applies to both finished cosmetic products and raw materials.

Fragrance results are also essential for trade and marketability tests.
