The tests include, among other things:

at various temperatures (e.g. 40°C, 4°C, room temperature, rocking test), times (individual weeks/months to Weeks/months to real-time storage over years), humidity levels and light sources -
Selection of suitable test parameters
e.g. pyhsical-chemical parameters (pH-value, density, viscosity), sensory (appearance, odor, Consistency, taste, changes to the packaging material), microbiology, active ingredients (preservatives etc.), other product-specific value-adding components -
Application tests
Simulation of use by the user through appropriate consumption tests and testing for microbiological microbiological contamination or other changes before the product is used up -
Evaluation and assessment of shelf life
for MHD (best before date) or PAO (period after opening)
