Microbiological limits for cosmetics according to DIN EN ISO 17516

Since the end of 2015, the limit values of ISO 17516 have been used for the microbiological evaluation of cosmetics. These values are also embedded in the SCCS Guidelines.

The BAV Institute is one of the largest and most modern microbiological contract laboratories in Germany. Due to the high routine in cosmetic testing, there are no waiting times even for preservative load tests.
