AssociationforConsumerInformation: NutMueslisTested
The Austrian partner organization, Verein für Konsumenteninformation (VKI), of Stiftung Warentest has analyzed 15 classic nut mueslis and 5 crunchy nut mueslis. Criticized were, among other things, low nut content and high sugar content. Overall, seven mueslis performed very well, of which three are also available in Germany.
The low level of contaminants contributed to an overall positive result. Although mycotoxins, acrylamide, and mineral oil residues were detectable, they were below the respective guideline and maximum levels. Levels of acrylamide were only detected in the crunchy versions, not in the classic nut muesli mixes.
In our Tentamus laboratories, we regularly conduct analyses for contaminant residues as well as nutritional analyses. We deliver fast and reliable results.
