BAV INSTITUTE offers § 4 LMHV training

According to § 4 LMHV (Food Hygiene Regulation dated 15.08.2007), all persons who produce, handle, process, transport, or place perishable food on the market, e.g., in retail, must participate in this mandatory training.

The contents are prescribed by the regulation. They include:

  1. Properties and composition of food in food establishments
  2. Hygienic requirements for the production and processing of food
  3. Food law
  4. Goods inspection, shelf-life testing, and labeling
  5. Operational self-inspections and traceability
  6. Contingency plan and crisis management
  7. Hygienic handling of food in food establishments
  8. Requirements for cooling and storage of food in food establishments
  9. Avoidance of adverse effects on food when dealing with food waste, inedible by-products, and other wastes
  10. Cleaning and disinfection

 

Duration of the training: 5 hours.

 

An assessment is carried out in the form of a written test. All participants receive a certificate.
