Öko-Test examines hand creams – December 2024 issue
In the current issue of the magazine Öko-Test, a total of 50 hand creams were examined and checked for possible residues and contaminants. The good news: 30 of the 50 products received a test rating of very good. However, products were also criticized.
The following led to downgrading and devaluation:
- Residues of mineral oils (MOSH/MOAH)
- Exceeded limit value for propylparaben
- Detection of formaldehyde releasers
- Critical, allergy-inducing fragrances
Our institute, part of the Tentamus laboratory group, examines both the final products and the raw materials used for possible residues and compliance with the requirements of Regulation (EC) 1223/2009. We also create customized testing plans for your product.
We look forward to your message and your inquiry!
