Investigation of preservatives in technical products

Various preservatives (e.g., thiazolinones) are still used to stabilize technical products (e.g., in paints and coatings).

The trend is clearly towards products that use fewer preservatives but still need to remain stable from application to full consumption. A key part of this is microbiological stability. 

The BAV Institute, as part of the Tentamus Laboratory Group, tests for you both the presence and absence of various preservatives (screening) as well as microbiological stability using a preservative efficacy test (e.g., according to ISO 11930).
