Hand cream under test – which creams pass the Öko-Test
In the November 2021 edition of Öko-Test, 53 hand creams were tested for critical ingredients, among others.
35 hand creams received a "very good" rating. Due to concerning ingredients, seven creams failed.
The test results are as follows:
- Concerning preservatives
- Formaldehyde/-releasers
- Halogenated organic compounds (AOX)
- Aromatic mineral oil hydrocarbons (MOAH)
- PEG compounds
- Propylparaben
- Silicones
- Concerning fragrances (Hydroxycitronellal)
