A total of 50 hand creams were examined in detail in the current November issue. The good news: half of the products received the grade "very good". However, grades unsatisfactory or poor were also awarded. Factors leading to the downgrade included, among others:
- Formaldehyde-releasing preservatives, such as Diazolidinyl Urea
- Artificial musk compounds
- PEG and PEG derivatives
- MOAH (polycyclic aromatic hydrocarbons)
- Parabens
- Fragrance Lilial
Regularly check your products and raw materials for the presence of certain critical substances and contaminants.
