Kaiser‘s Tengelmann changes price tags - In BAV Newsletter 01/2011

After a warning from the North Rhine-Westphalia consumer protection association, Kaiser’s Tengelmann will now design its base prices more clearly nationwide. According to the price indication regulation, retailers are obliged to display base prices “easily recognizable”, “clearly legible” or “otherwise easily perceptible”. According to consumer protection associations, errors have been found in six out of ten price tags.
