KCT - Preservative Challenge Test - ISO 11930

The preservation efficacy test (PET, Challenge test) is mandatory for all cosmetic products according to Regulation (EC) No. 1223/2009. This test demonstrates the microbiological stability of a product and simulates contamination with selected test microorganisms.
