Magazine Öko-Test examines baby care creams

Magazine Öko-Test examines baby care creams

22 care creams specifically for delicate baby skin have been examined by the magazine Öko-Test in the current October issue 2020 for controversial ingredients.
The good news: 19 of the 22 products, including all the natural cosmetic products examined in this test, received a very good rating. Two care creams were rated as poor.

What exactly led to a downgrade? Essentially, it is residues and ingredients:

-        Butylated hydroxytoluene (BHT)
-        Paraffins
-        Aromatic mineral oil hydrocarbons (MOAH)
-        Silicones

Do you want to know how your product performs? The cosmetics experts at the BAV Institute preliminarily check the formulation for potential ingredients that could be downgraded by Öko-Test.
Furthermore, the BAV Institute, in cooperation with the international Tentamus laboratory group, conducts all relevant chemical and microbiological tests for you quickly and reliably to meet the requirements of the EU Cosmetics Regulation (EC) No 1223/2009.
