Make-up in the Test by Stiftung Warentest

In the current February issue of Stiftung Warentest, 13 make-ups were examined in detail. In the investigation, the following points in particular led to a downgrade by one or more grades:

• Microplastics
• Silicones
• Petroleum-based raw materials
• Microorganisms (microbiological quality)
• Heavy metals
• Fragrance Lilial (Butylphenyl Methylpropional)

Eight of the 13 products received a good rating, four were satisfactory, and one product was adequate.
