Microbiological Stability – Preservative Efficacy Testing – ISO 11930
Microbiological stability is essential for the safety of cosmetics, and evidence of this is part of the safety report for cosmetics according to Regulation (EC) No. 1223/2009.
The test is generally carried out according to ISO 11930 and includes 5 test microorganisms (Pseudomonas aeruginosa, Staphylococcus aureus, Escherichia coli, Candida albicans, Aspergillus brasiliensis). Additional microorganisms such as Pluralibacter gergoviae or Burkholderia cepacia can be included. Occasionally it is also recommended to include isolates from the production environment in the spectrum.
Our institute has many years of experience and outstanding expertise in conducting and evaluating preservative efficacy tests (PETs). We have special offers for new customers.
We look forward to your message.
