New COSMILE App Launched – Get Informed About Cosmetic Ingredients

The new COSMILE app is live! Anyone who wants to know what substances are contained in a cosmetic product can now find all the answers on COSMILE. The goal of this app is to make products more transparent for consumers and to provide information about the ingredients used.

The new app significantly simplifies handling compared to the existing INCI app from haut.de and expands on it. Previously, INCI designations or the first three letters of the ingredient had to be entered. With the new COSMILE app, simply scanning the EAN code is enough to obtain information about all ingredients. The database already contains a multitude of well-known products and brands, an overview is available at www.cosmile.app/marken. The list is continuously updated and supplemented by the app provider, the agency health&media. Consumers can also contribute to updating the list by sending unrecorded products to COSMILE.
