New data sheet on propolis by the Cosmetics Group

The Cosmetics Group of the German Chemical Society (GDCh) regularly publishes data sheets on selected cosmetic ingredients. These data sheets on the efficacy of active ingredients in cosmetics provide valuable guidance regarding possible application concentrations and serve as a guide for the industry and trade. Furthermore, these data sheets can be helpful in evaluating claims of cosmetic products according to Regulation (EU) 655/2013. To date, data sheets have been published on the following ingredients, among others:

-       Allantoin

-       Urea

-       Hydroxy acids

-       Chamomile

-       Panthenol

-       Proteins

-       Vitamin A, Vitamin E, Vitamin C, and Niacinamide

In November, a current data sheet on Propolis was published.

The group is currently led by Dr. Bernhard Fellenberg from the BAV Institute.
