New IFS Standard for "Retail Outlets" - In BAV Newsletter 01/2014

The IFS standards are issued by the German and French retail association and include requirements regarding product safety and product quality. In the food sector, the IFS Food has gained significant importance.

A new standard, the IFS Food Store, has now been published. The publisher aims to provide retailers with an inspection tool for assessing food safety at retail outlets. The standard is currently available in French, with additional languages to follow.
