New rapid method for the determination of yeasts and molds in cosmetics in just 3 days

The BAV Institute now offers a new rapid method for determining the number of yeasts and molds in cosmetics within just 3 days. This examination has been conducted for food products and is now also available for cosmetics. 

According to the previously applied ISO reference method, the results for yeasts and molds are available after 5 days (ISO 16212), and for bacteria after 3 days (ISO 21149). From now on, you have the option to choose between the ISO methods and our validated and accredited rapid method. When using the rapid method, all microbiological test results for cosmetics are fully available after 3 days, resulting in enormous time savings.
