Eco-Test January 2025: Smoked Tofu in Test

ÖKO-TEST examined a total of 19 smoked tofu products in the January 2025 issue, 18 of which were organically grown. The products were tested, among other things, for heavy metals (lead, cadmium), free 3-MCPD, polycyclic aromatic hydrocarbons (PAH), and genetic modifications (GMO).

The test results were inconspicuous for all products. Genetic modifications were detected in two products, but they were below the declaration requirement.
