Pluralibacter gergoviae in cosmetic products

Pluralibacter gergoviae (formerly Enterobacter gergoviae) repeatedly causes contamination in cosmetics, leading to recalls, most recently in April 2017 on the German market. It is also increasingly noticeable in the field of pharmaceutical production, causing damage. A recent publication in Pharm. Ind. 79, No. 10 by Dr. Gero Beckmann addresses the topic.
