Rapid method for the determination of yeasts and molds in cosmetics in just 3 days

The BAV Institute offers a rapid method to determine the number of yeasts and molds in cosmetics within just 3 days. This test has been conducted on food products and is now also available for cosmetics. 

According to the previously applied ISO reference method, the results for yeasts and molds are available after 5 days (ISO 16212), and for bacteria after 3 days (ISO 21149). From now on, you have the option to choose between the ISO procedures and our validated and accredited rapid method. 

When applying the rapid method, all results of the microbiological testing of cosmetics are fully available after 3 days, which brings a significant time saving.
