VO (EG) Nr. 853/2004: Anpassung des Identitätskennzeichens
Am 19.04.24 wurde die Delegierte Verordnung (EU) 2024/1141 im Amtsblatt der EU veröffentlicht, mit der zahlreiche Änderungen der Anhänge II und III der Hygieneverordnung (EG) Nr. 853/2004 einhergehen.
Die neuen Regelungen sehen u. a. vor, dass die bisher genutzte Abkürzung in dem Identitätskennzeichen „EG“ (für Europäische Gemeinschaft) bis spätestens zum 31.12.2028 durch die Abkürzung „EU“ (für Europäische Union) ersetzt werden soll.
BfR warnt vor unerwünschten gesundheitlichen Wirkungen durch Glycerin in Slush-Ice-Getränken
Das Bundesinstitut für Risikobewertung (BfR) hat die Glycerin-Gehalte in Slush-Ice-Getränken gesundheitlich bewertet. Glycerin, auch als Lebensmittelzusatzstoff E 422 bekannt, wird in verschiedenen Lebensmitteln, einschließlich aromatisierter Getränke, verwendet.
Aktuelle Lebensmittelwarnung: Nicht deklariertes Allergen in Rosinen
In einer aktuellen Lebensmittelwarnung werden die Verbraucher darauf hingewiesen, dass in Rosinen Schwefeldioxid nachgewiesen wurde, ohne dass dies auf der Verpackung zu gekennzeichnet ist. Deshalb wird das Produkt zurückgerufen.
Aktualisierung der DGHM-Empfehlungen: Mikrobiologische Richt- und Warnwerte für Lebensmittel
Die Deutsche Gesellschaft für Hygiene und Mikrobiologie e.V. (DGHM) hat ihre mikrobiologischen Richt- und Warnwerte für Lebensmittel aktualisiert. Das BAV Institut hat die Neuerungen in seine Prüfpläne übernommen und weist auf die Änderung hin.
Duftstoffe Kosmetik – Verordnung (EU) Nr. 2023/1545
Die Deklaration allergener Duftstoffe für Kosmetika wurde mit VO (EU) Nr. 2023/1545 neu reguliert und die Kennzeichnungspflicht deutlich erweitert.
Nahrungsergänzungsmittel: Anzeige notwendig
Das Bundesamt für Verbraucherschutz und Lebensmittelsicherheit (BVL) weist darauf hin, dass Nahrungsergänzungsmittel vor dem Verkauf beim BVL angezeigt werden müssen. Diese Produkte gelten als Lebensmittel und unterliegen den entsprechenden europäischen und deutschen Vorschriften.
