Time and again, recalls are necessary due to contamination of cosmetics and non-compliance with ISO 17516. The recalls mainly concern water-based products, but powders, for example, may also be affected.

We quantitatively test for bacteria, yeasts, and molds according to the aforementioned ISO standard and qualitatively for the presence of the following specified microorganisms in 1g of product:

• Pseudomonas aeruginosa
• Escherichia coli
• Aspergillus brasiliensis
• Candida albicans

We also check whether other microorganisms such as Pluralibacter gergoviae or Burkholderia cepacia are detectable in your products or raw materials.
